Gs. Dr. Veena Shashikant is a Lecturer in the Department of Agriculture Technology, Faculty of Agriculture, Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM). She holds a PhD in Geospatial Engineering and is a registered Professional Geospatialist (Gs.). Her research interests include precision agriculture, GeoAI, remote sensing, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), machine learning, and digital agriculture. Her work focuses on integrating geospatial technologies and artificial intelligence to develop innovative solutions for sustainable and climate-resilient agriculture. With both academic and industry experience, she is committed to advancing research, fostering collaborations, mentoring future agricultural professionals, and contributing to the digital transformation of the agricultural sector.
