I look forward to a world without starvation and everyone getting sufficient nutritious food.

Food safety is the first priority because readily available food should be safe for consumption. My research background was on phytoplankton associated with harmful algal blooms.

As the human population increases, food security becomes a pressing issue. Aquaculture having a low feed conversion ratio has high efficiency in producing animal protein for human consumption.

My career direction will focus on aquaculture organisms' live feed selection framework to improve fry survival, development and quality. Based on Six Sigma, I believe increasing quality shall reduce the production cost and eventually there will be a continuous supply of affordable food for everyone. My current research interest is to find and utilize the potential micro- and macroalgae as live feed.
