PROFESIONAL

Suriati Paiman is a highly respected researcher in the field of semiconductor nanostructures materials and compound semiconductors. Her research focuses on the development and characterization of novel materials for applications in piezoelectric devices, which are used in a wide range of technological applications, from sensors and actuators to energy harvesting.

One of Paiman's key contributions to the field of semiconductor nanostructures is her work on the growth and characterization of III-V compound semiconductor nanowires, which have promising properties for use in piezoelectric devices. In a study published in the Journal of Applied Physics, Paiman and her team investigated the effects of growth conditions on the morphology and crystal structure of GaAs nanowires, which are a type of III-V compound semiconductor.

Another area of Paiman's research focuses on the development of new materials and fabrication techniques for piezoelectric devices. In a recent study published in the Journal of Materials Science: Materials in Electronics, Paiman and her team investigated the effects of various growth parameters on the properties of ZnO nanorods, which have potential applications in piezoelectric sensors and actuators.

Overall, Paiman's research highlights the potential of semiconductor nanostructures and compound semiconductors for use in piezoelectric devices, and underscores the importance of developing innovative and efficient materials and fabrication techniques for meeting the growing demand for such devices in various technological applications.
