PLC. Gs. Ts. Dr. Mohammad Mujaheed Hassan is a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Social and Development Sciences, Faculty of Human Ecology, Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM). His academic and professional expertise spans urban and regional planning, housing, security and community development, and social development.

Prior to his academic career, he accumulated extensive industry experience as a Town Planner, providing him with a strong foundation in translating planning knowledge into real-world practice. His work today integrates teaching, research, professional practice, community engagement, and internationalisation.

He currently serves as the Deputy Director (International Relations) at i-PUTRA, UPM, where he contributes to strengthening international partnerships, global academic networks, and student mobility initiatives. He is also actively involved in research and innovative teaching, particularly in the areas of alternative assessment, experiential learning, and community-based education.

His contributions reflect a multidisciplinary approach that connects academic knowledge with professional practice and societal needs, with a strong commitment to creating meaningful impact within the university, community, and wider professional landscape.
