My ultimate vision as a conservation biologist is to facilitate forest protection and restoration while promoting sustainable development that safeguards the welfare of natural resources and the forest inhabitants. My conservation work focuses on orchids as an endangered flagship plant group. I am involved in rescuing orchids from logged forests, ex situ conservation (including propagation and horticulture), habitat restoration, DNA barcoding and taxonomy.
