Dr. Azmah Hanim Mohamed Ariff is an esteemed Associate Professor at the Department of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering, Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM). With a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, Dr. Azmah Hanim has established herself as an expert in the fields of metallurgy, lead-free solder technology, and material engineering.

Her research is at the forefront of engineering innovation, particularly in the development and characterization of advanced materials such as lead-free solder alternatives, porous ceramics, nanomaterials-reinforced composites and other sustainable biocomposites. Dr. Azmah Hanim has made significant contributions to the scientific community, evidenced by her extensive portfolio of publications in high-impact journals. Her work has explored the mechanical properties of hybrid composites, the impact of isothermal aging on solder materials, and the development of environmentally friendly materials for industrial applications.

Beyond her research, Dr. Azmah Hanim is actively involved in academic societies and serves as a reviewer for several prestigious journals. She has also received numerous awards recognizing her contributions to engineering and materials science, solidifying her reputation as a leading researcher in her field.
