PROFESSIONAL
PROFESSOR DR. MOHD AZIDAN ABDUL JABAR is currently a Professor in Discourse Studies, Arabic Language and Applied Linguistics at Faculty of Modern Languages and Communication, Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM). He has held various appointments of academic administration including the positions of Dean at Faculty of Modern Languages and Communication, Deputy Dean (Graduate Studies and International Affairs), Head of Foreign Languages Department and Minister Counsellor/Director of Education Malaysia Office at Embassy of Malaysia in Amman, Jordan. He has gained mountain experience in public administration, foreign service, student affairs management, teaching, research, consultancy as well as extension and community service. He has carried out numerous research projects and has published papers in journal, book, chapter in book and proceeding. He also had presented a significant number of papers at national, regional and international conferences.
