PROFESIONAL
PROFESOR DR. MOHD AZIDAN BIN ABDUL JABAR merupakan Profesor dalam bidang Pengajian Wacana, Bahasa Arab dan Linguistik Terapan di Fakulti Bahasa Moden dan Komunikasi, Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM). Beliau pernah dilantik ke dalam pelbagai jawatan pentadbiran akademik termasuk sebagai Dekan di Fakulti Bahasa Moden dan Komunikasi, Timbalan Dekan (Pengajian Siswazah dan Antarabangsa), Ketua Jabatan Bahasa Asing dan Pengarah di Pejabat Education Malaysia Jordan, Kedutaan Besar Malaysia di Amman, Jordan. Beliau memiliki pengalaman yang luas dalam pentadbiran awam, perkhidmatan luar negeri, pengurusan hal-ehwal pelajar, pengajaran, penyelidikan, perundingan serta pengembangan dan khidmat masyarakat. Beliau telah menjalankan beberapa projek penyelidikan serta telah menghasilkan banyak penulisan dalam jurnal, buku, bab dalam buku dan prosiding. Beliau juga telah membentangkan banyak kertas kerja dalam konferens dan seminar peringkat kebangsaan, serantau dan antarabangsa.
