Ts. Dr. Mohd Anuar Mat Isa holds two PhDs in technology: a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Universiti Putra Malaysia and a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Universiti Teknologi MARA, which he completed both Ph.Ds simultaneously while managing a company. His unique adaptability and multirole capabilities allow him to efficiently lead multiple research and development projects. He actively contributes to the cryptographic community, including his involvement with the Malaysian Society for Cryptology Research (MSCR) and his contributions to the IPTM Blockchain project. Dr. Mohd Anuar's current work includes cutting-edge projects in areas such as AI Blockchain, semantic and algebra applications, blockchain development and testing, smart contract (chaincode) implementation, post-quantum cryptography (PQC) integration in web browsers (Chromium), and secure embedded communication. He also serves as a visiting industry lecturer at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), teaching postgraduate courses on blockchain technology.

His research focuses on AI integration in blockchain, asymmetric cryptography, lightweight cryptography for embedded systems, IoT protocol security, formal methods, trust modelling, and mathematical modelling. With over 10 patents to his name from his time at MIMOS Berhad, he has also provided intellectual property consultation on patent drafting for SIRIM Berhad. His work has been widely published in journals and conference papers covering blockchain, cryptography, and embedded systems.
