PROFESSIONAL

I completed my Ph.D. in 2010 at Tokyo Institute of Technology, where I was awarded the Kamata Izumi award for best Ph.D. thesis. There, I was trained as a biochemist and bioengineer with a more specific expertise in the field of biosensor. In 2011, I worked as a lecturer for Japanese universities preparation program at MARA Higher Skill College in Beranang before moving to Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) in 2012 as a senior lecturer. From August 2019, I was promoted to associate professor at UPM. I taught about 130 credit hours and had completed the supervision of 1 PhD and 8 MSc students. I am currently in the supervisory committees of 7 PhD and 4 MSc students.
