About me:
Professor Ir. Dr. Siti Anom Ahmad is a Professor at the Department of Electrical & Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM).
She obtained her Ph.D. in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Southampton, UK, in 2009, following an M.Sc. in Microelectronics System Design (2004) from the same university, and a B.Eng. in Electronic and Computer Engineering from UPM (1999).
Prof. Siti Anom is a Professional Engineer registered with the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM), a Chartered Engineer with the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET, UK), a Senior Member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), and a member of the Institution of Engineers Malaysia (IEM).
Her research lies at the intersection of biomedical engineering, gerontechnology, and intelligent control systems, with a particular passion for creating practical, technology-driven solutions that promote independent living, healthy ageing, and improved healthcare outcomes. She remains committed to advancing knowledge while ensuring her work benefits both society and the communities she serves.
