Nurfadhlina Mohd Sharef is a Professor at the Department of Computer Science, Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology, Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), and is currently serving as the Chief Digital Officer at the Centre for InfoComm Development (IDEC) in UPM.

Prof. Fadhlina’s main research interests are in artificial intelligence, machine learning and data science. Her current research focus on digital twin, interactive machine learning and multi-objective optimization. She is one of the national task force members for AI roadmap implementation. Her works are applied in education, agriculture, biodiversity and health.

She is also the Chairperson of Young Scientist Network, an expert group and voice of young scientists representing Malaysia under the purview of Academy of Sciences Malaysia (ASM), and representative in National Science Council. She is the currenf President of Information Retrieval and Knowledge Management Association (PECAMP).
