Dr. Juwaidah Sharifuddin is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Agriculture, UPM specializing on Agribusiness Marketing. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration majoring in Marketing and Economics from Drexel University, USA. She obtained her Masters of Business Administration (Marketing) from Universiti Putra Malaysia and Ph.D. in Marketing from Cardiff University, UK. Her main interest in research is in agribusiness marketing and consumer behavior towards agro-related and food products. To date, she has secured research grants as project leader and co-researcher worth more than RM600,000 to conduct thirteen projects from Universiti Putra Malaysia and the Ministry of Higher Education Malaysia. She has two Ph.D. and six Master's students who graduated under her supervision and currently is the main supervisor to three Ph.D. and nine Master's students, and co-supervises twelve Ph.D. and eight Master's students. She also was appointed as an external assessor for a Ph.D. thesis at Open University Malaysia (OUM) and an external examiner for a Masters’ thesis at Islamic Science University of Malaysia (USIM) as well as at Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM).

She has been involved in 10 consultancy projects at the national as well as international levels. These include projects with Malaysian Institute of Economic Research (MIER), Majlis Agama Islam Wilayah Persekutuan (MAIWP), and The Southeast Asian Regional Center for Graduate Study and Research in Agriculture (SEARCA), Economic Research Institute for ASEAN and East Asia (ERIA), Malaysian Palm Oil Council (MPOC) and Integrated Agriculture Development Area (IADA) Barat Laut, Selangor. In addition, she has authored and co-authored about 37 journal articles and presented 40 conference and seminar papers in her area of expertise. She is also actively participated in the development of the Agri-Entrepreneur Incubation Program conducted yearly by UPM since 2012 and is appointed as one of the trainers in the program.

Currently, Dr. Juwaidah is the Deputy Dean (Academic, Student Affairs, and Alumni) of the Faculty of Agriculture, UPM.
