36th International Invention, Innovation, and Technology Exhibition (ITEX 2025)
- 29 May 2025
Event Title: 36th International Invention, Innovation, and Technology Exhibition (ITEX 2025)
Date: 29 to 30 May 2025
Venue: Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, Malaysia
Role: Trade Visitor
The 36th International Invention, Innovation, and Technology Exhibition (ITEX 2025) was held from 29 to 30 May 2025 at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, Malaysia. Organized by the Malaysian Invention and Design Society (MINDS) and C.I.S Network Sdn Bhd, the event showcased cutting-edge innovations across sectors like sustainability, healthcare, education, and artificial intelligence. With the theme “The Power of STEAM and AI,” ITEX 2025 drew inventors, researchers, and visitors from around the world to celebrate interdisciplinary solutions to modern challenges.
As a trade visitor, I was deeply impressed by the diversity and practicality of the innovations presented. From solar-powered water purification systems to AI-assisted learning tools and biomedical wearables, each exhibit carried a clear purpose and potential for real-world impact. What resonated with me most was how these projects reflected not just technical brilliance, but also a deep understanding of human needs. The World Young Inventors Exhibition (WYIE) was especially inspiring, showcasing how the next generation is already thinking boldly and creatively about our shared future.
The highlight of my visit was surprisingly simple yet memorable, trying bugbear for the first time, and loving it. That small experience led to spontaneous laughs and genuine conversations with other attendees. From innovator to innovator, we connected over our shared journeys and aspirations. Even the most unexpected moments turned into something special, proving that innovation isn’t just about technology, it’s about people. As always, I found myself drawn to the Thai booths, especially because the food was absolutely delicious. ITEX 2025 was not just an exhibition of ideas, but a celebration of curiosity, community, and creativity.
