On February 25, 2025, I had the privilege of attending the Tech-Garage Seminar Vol. 4 – Advances in Manufacturing and AI Technologies as a guest at the Center of Garage Malaysia in Cyberjaya. Organized by Leave a Nest Malaysia, the seminar gathered industry experts, researchers, and entrepreneurs to explore the latest advancements in manufacturing and AI-driven technologies.

The event began with an opening remark, setting the stage for a series of insightful presentations. Notable sessions featured speakers from Zull Design, Maypreen, and MindnRoboticss, highlighting their innovations in rapid prototyping, contract manufacturing, and robotics. These discussions provided valuable insights into how businesses can leverage advanced manufacturing techniques and AI to enhance efficiency and productivity.

A key highlight of the seminar was the introduction to the Japanese manufacturing ecosystem and the AMEICC project, followed by presentations from startups Tenchijin and LabBase. These sessions emphasized the significance of international collaboration in driving technological advancements. Additionally, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signing ceremony between Tenchijin and Universiti Sains Malaysia marked a milestone in fostering research and innovation in AI and manufacturing technologies.
