DR FELICIA SU-MIN HU
MD (USM), MMed Anaes (UKM)
Dr Felicia Su-Min Hu is a Malaysia specialist board certified Anaesthesiologist. She is currently serving as a consultant anaesthesiologist and senior medical lecturer at Faculty of Medicine, Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM). She graduated with a medical degree from Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) in 2003. She began her training in anaesthesia in Hospital Tuanku Permaisuri Bainun, Ipoh, Perak in 2007 and continued her anaesthesia training in Hospital Kuala Lumpur (HKL). She obtained her Masters of Medicine in Anaesthesiology from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) in 2011 before attaining Specialist Board accreditation in Malaysia.
Dr Felicia is currently attached to the Department of Anaesthesiology, UPM as the postgraduate program coordinator. She is also the honorary secretary of the Anaesthesiology Conjoint Board. She is actively involved in various postgraduate training courses such as intensive courses and refresher courses. At present, she is regularly involved in the postgraduate Part I examinations as an internal examiner.
Dr Felicia continues to serve as a consultant anaesthesiologist where she is involved in training of medical students and trainee anaesthetists. She maintains a keen interest in teaching and research. She continues to teach, train and impart clinical skills in her role as a consultant anaesthesiologist with UPM teaching hospital.
