Associate Professor Dr. Rahmat Dapari is a Senior Medical Lecturer (DU15) and Public Health Medicine Specialist at the Department of Community Health, Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM). He holds a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from Universiti Putra Malaysia, awarded in 2007. He subsequently completed a Master of Public Health (MPH) from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) in 2013 and was conferred the Doctor of Public Health (DrPH) degree by Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia in 2017. His exemplary performance earned him the Hidayasu Oyama Award, recognizing him as the best DrPH graduate of his cohort.

Associate Professor Dr. Rahmat Dapari has extensive professional experience with the Malaysian Ministry of Health, where he served in various capacities, including as a Medical Officer at various health clinics under the Batu Pahat District Health Office, Senior Principal Assistant Director at the Negeri Sembilan State Health Department, Epidemiologist at the Seremban District Health Office, and Senior Principal Assistant Director at the Disease Control Division Headquarters in Putrajaya, where he was appointed as Head of the Dengue Unit.

Currently, Associate Professor Dr. Rahmat Dapari is an academician and researcher at Universiti Putra Malaysia. He serves as the Chairman of the Integrated Dengue Research and Development UPM, is a certified trainer in Social and Behaviour Change Communication, and is an active member of Dengue Prevention Advocacy Malaysia (DPAM). His research focuses on dengue prevention and control, emphasizing risk assessment, predictive modelling, and community-based interventions.
