Dr. Nur Azuan Husin is a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Biological and Agricultural Engineering (KBP), Universiti Putra Malaysia. His expertise lies in remote sensing, unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) systems, geospatial data analytics, and digital technology applications in smart agriculture. His research focuses on developing imaging- and machine learning–based approaches for early detection of crop diseases, particularly to support sustainable oil palm plantation management. In addition to his academic responsibilities, he actively contributes to knowledge transfer initiatives, industry collaborations, and student development through supervision, applied research, and community-impact projects
