WELCOME

I am a senior lecturer at the Faculty of Forestry and Environment, Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) and an interim research associate at the Institute of Tropical Forestry and Forest Products (INTROP). I have over ten years of experience as a senior lecturer at UPM and currently hold a position as the Head of Department at Wood and Fiber Industries. I have taught, mentored, and supervised numerous undergraduate and postgraduate students in various courses and projects related to wood industry economics and management, forest products procurement, financial analysis of wood-based industries, and forest industrial operation analysis.

My field of expertise includes wood industry economics and management, forestry, and sustainability, with multiple publications and grants related to these research areas. My mission is to contribute to developing sustainable and resilient forest-based industries and communities that can balance economic, social, and environmental objectives. I am always open to new opportunities and challenges that can enhance my skills and knowledge and enable me to make a positive impact on society and the environment.
