Dr Muhammad Zulfadli Mehat
BSc (Biomedical Sciences), PhD (Pharmacology)

Dr Muhammad Zulfadli Mehat is a pharmacologist at the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM). He graduated with a Bachelor Science of Biomedical Sciences from UPM and then received his Doctor of Philosophy from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia in Medical Science of Pharmacology. He was under the supervision of Professor Ahmad Nazrun Shuid in the study of Vitamin E and bone metabolism and bone strength. His current interest in neuroscience research is focused on neurodegenerative diseases, anti-neuroinflammatory and antioxidant horizon, especially using natural products or natural compounds. He is actively involved in the Malaysian Society of Neurosciences. He has published both locally and internationally in several peers reviewed journals.
