PROFESSIONAL
LUDINATA is a law degree graduate from Fukushima University, Japan. He began his career as an Administrative Officer at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) in 2002. Over more than 23 years of service at UPM, he has accumulated extensive experience in university management and administration, particularly in Corporate Communications, Higher Education Management & Administration, Entrepreneurship Development, and Career Development. To date, he has served in nine (9) different Responsibility Centres (PTj) at UPM, namely:
• Corporate Communications Division (2002–2003)
• Faculty of Engineering (2003–2004)
• Student Affairs Division (2004–2006)
• Faculty of Educational Studies (2006–2007)
• Office of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (JINM) (2009–2010) – Special Officer to the DVC (JINM)
• Academic & International Division (2013)
• Office of Marketing and Corporate Communications (2013–2014) – Head of Division
• Faculty of Veterinary Medicine & University Veterinary Hospital (2014–2020)
• Centre for Entrepreneurship Development and Graduate Employability (2020–present) – Deputy Director
Ludinata, who enjoys challenges, was previously seconded as a Senior Assistant Director at the Malaysian Students Department, Ministry of Higher Education, before being appointed as a Diplomat/Education Attaché at the Education Division (Education Malaysia), Embassy of Malaysia in Jakarta, Indonesia from 2010 to 2013.
After completing his assignment in Jakarta, he played a key role at UPM as the Head of Division at the Office of Marketing and Corporate Communications (MARCOMM), UPM. At MARCOMM, he managed the university’s public relations affairs and coordinated various prestigious events attended by distinguished guests and VIPs.
His interest in protocol and social etiquette motivated him to pursue the Malaysian Skills Diploma in Image Consulting under the Department of Skills Development, Ministry of Human Resources. With the experience, skills, and professional certification obtained, he is recognised as a Certified Image Consultant with expertise in conducting training programmes in protocol, social etiquette, public speaking, official event management, public relations, customer service, and social media marketing.
Today, Ludinata is frequently invited to provide consultancy services, conduct training programmes, and serve as a subject matter expert in protocol, etiquette, and professional grooming for civil servants at UPM as well as various ministries and government agencies. He also serves as an adjunct lecturer at the Institute of Diplomacy and Foreign Relations (IDFR), Ministry of Foreign Affairs; the National Institute of Public Administration (INTAN); and the Sabah State Public Sector Training Institute (INSAN). In addition, he has been an Industry Advisor for the Diploma in Secretarial Studies programme at Mukah Polytechnic, Sarawak since 2018 to the present.
He has also shared topics on men’s grooming and appearance through broadcasts on Radio Nasional FM, and is the author of the best-selling book *“77 Style Inspirations for Civil Servants.”*
Most recently, Ludinata won international recognition through The Accreditation Council for Entrepreneurial and Engaged Universities (ACEUU) Global Entrepreneurship Educator of the Year 2025, and also won the Changemaker Leadership Programme for Senior Administrators (CLaPSA) Cohort 2 Project Grant Competition organised by AKEPT, Ministry of Higher Education.
