Associate Professor Dr Ho Kok Lian
BSc (Hons.) (UPM), MSc (UPM), PhD (Edinburgh)

He is an Associate Professor of Structural and Molecular Biology. His main interest in research is on structural elucidation of viruses using cutting edge techniques such as protein X-ray crystallography and cryo-electron microscopy. Recently, he has diversified his research interest to vaccine development using virus-like particles as platforms. Current vaccine development projects in his laboratory include development of Japanese encephalitis and influenza A vaccines.
