PROFESSIONAL

Mas Nida Md. Khambari is an Associate Professor in Education Technology at the Faculty of Educational Studies, UPM. She obtained her Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, USA. Her research interests and expertise include Information Technology, Educational Technology, Instructional Technology and Learning Design, Teacher Professional Development, Digital Learning Agility, and Gamification.

She has published more than 50 research articles in the field of educational technology. She has also served as the principal investigator for five research grants amounting to RM229,050.00 and as a co-investigator for 14 research grants totalling RM929,568.80. To date, Mas Nida has produced more than 21 innovations — including frameworks, mobile applications, web-based applications, board games, and teaching modules — which have been registered under copyright with MyIPO.

She is a member of the Executive Committee of the prestigious Asia-Pacific Society for Computers in Education (APSCE) and has been actively involved since 2014 in the Special Interest Group (SIG) on Practice-driven Research, Teacher Professional Development and Policy of ICT in Education under APSCE’s flagship conference, the International Conference on Computers in Education.

Mas Nida has received numerous awards, including the Putra InnoCreative Award for Best InnoCreative Educator (Immersive Face-to-Face), the Vice Chancellor’s Fellowship Award in Teaching and Learning, the Excellent Supervision Award, and the Early Career Researcher Award (ECRA) in 2024 under the auspices of APSCE.
