Dr Faezah Hassan is a Family Medicine Specialist at the Family Medicine Clinic of Hospital Pengajar UPM (HPUPM) and a Senior Medical Lecturer DU 56 at the Department of Family Medicine, Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences (FMHS) UPM Serdang.

She received her secondary education at the High School of Science Muzaffar Syah Melaka (Mozac) and later obtained her Medical Degree from Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) in 1995. She then was awarded a Master of Family Medicine by the University of Malaya (UM) in 2007. She is currently pursuing her PhD in Medical Sciences at UPM.

Dr Faezah Hassan has experience in clinical medicine of the public sector throughout her employment by the Ministry of Health Malaysia from June 1995 until June 2009. She then ventured into academia at UPM since June 2009. Currently, she is active in medical academic, teaching and learning, research, publications, leadership, industry and community networks as well as the clinical field of family medicine.

In the clinical and research field, Dr Faezah is interested in family medicine while care of chronic diseases and qualitative health research are her research interests. She is currently a research associate with Kings' College London for the MYGODDESS project under the MyPAIR research grant. She also provides clinical consultancy at the Family Medicine Clinic of HPUPM, Salak Health Clinic and at public health events.

Academic wise, she is involved with the teaching, supervision, examination and development of the curriculum and students of the Doctor of Medicine, Bachelor of Science (Biomedical Sciences), Bachelor and PhD of Nursing, Master of Medicine (Family Medicine), Master Public Health and Doctor of Public Health (DrPH) of the FMHS UPM. She was also involved in the teaching of students of the Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) at the Cyberjaya University College of Medical Sciences (CUCMS).

Dr Faezah is a registered Family Medicine Specialist with the Malaysian Medical Council (MMC) and National Specialist Register (NSR). She is also a life member of local medical and researches professional bodies such as Malaysian Medical Association (MMA), Islamic Medical Association Malaysia (IMAM), Family Medicine Specialist Association Malaysia(FMSA), Academy of Family Physician Malaysia (AFPM), Family Medicine Society UPM (FMS Putra), The Qualitative Research Association of Malaysia (QRAM) and an ordinary member of the Malaysian Primary Care Research Group (MPCRG).
