Dr. Rahmat Dapari is a Senior Medical Lecturer (DU56) and Public Health Medicine Specialist at the Department of Community Health, Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM). In 2007, he earned his Medical Doctor (MD) degree from the Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), and in 2011, he earned his Occupational Health Doctor (OHD) from the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH). He received his Master of Public Health (MPH) from the National University of Malaysia (UKM) in 2013 and his Doctor of Public Health (DrPH) in 2017 with the Hidayasu Oyama Award for the best student of DrPH at the National University of Malaysia (UKM). He has held various positions in the Malaysian Ministry of Health, including House Officer at Hospital Sultanah Bahiyah, Medical Officer in various health clinics under the Batu Pahat District Health Office, Senior Principal Assistant Director in Negeri Sembilan State Health Department, Epidemiologist in Seremban District Health Office, and Senior Principal Assistant Director at Disease Control Division, Head Quarters in Putrajaya. In terms of research and publication, the current focus is on occupational safety and health-related issues, communicable (vector-borne disease), non-communicable diseases, and Industrial Revolution 4.0 (IR 4.0) oriented community intervention development applicable to a wide range of industries.
